As title says, whenever I try to put the game in fullscreen, my screen goes completely black. And nothing more happens

I can still move and do things of that nature, it's just that I can't see anything. Anyone know anything about this? :S

Is your ingame resolution set higher than your monitor supports?

what are your video card and monitor specs?

Videocard is ATI 4870x2 and my monitor is a Samsung Syncmaster 932BW. Max resolution is 1440x900

is your resolution in Guild Wars set at higher than 1440x900? F11 in game (while in window mode) will show the relevant menu.

Try setting it to the lowest possible, 640x480, and see if that helps. If it does, gradually progress it back up to 1440x900 and see where it does that.

Also, in case you didn't know, alt+enter toggles full screen.

No resolution works :/ I can see a flicker of the game when I press ALT+Enter but that's pretty much it.

What about refreshrate? Did you put that to its lowest?

I can't change that one because I'm stuck in windowed mode

Or is there some way to change it outside of F11?

OK, it's not just for Guild Wars either as I found out today.
It is like this for any game I try to play :/
